Explore the city of Cairo on this full-day tour by private airconditioned car from Hurghada town, to Egypt’s capital city (Cairo). Visit the most attractive sightseeing; the Giza Pyramid (Cheops, kefren and Mekyrinus), the Great Sphinx, and the Egyptian Museum.
What to expect
our Representative will pick you up from your hotel in Hurghada around 1:00 am to drive you to Cairo, you will arrive Cairo around 8:00 am, your meet your tour guide in Cairo to start your day tour.
You start your tour visiting the Pyramids of Giza. The Royal Necropolis of 4th dynasty (around 2580 - 2520 BC). there on the Giza plateau you enjoy three main pyramids the most famous in Egypt: The Great pyramid of Cheops (Cheops), the Pyramid of Kefrén and the Pyramid of Mykerinus. father, son and grandson built the 3 pyramids to keep their mummies, there are also 6 smaller pyramids for their wives and daughters (pyramids of the Queens), the Pyramids are srounded with hundreds of tombs for their high officials and members of the royal family.
After getting memorable pictures of the Pyramids you head to the famous Sphinx with the body of a lion and the head of king Kefrén, the Sphinx was the Guardian of the Pyramids.
After the visit to the Giza pyramids, you will have lunch in localal restaurant & visit the Papyruse museum (time for shoping).
Then you head to the Egyptian Museum, built in 1901 in the center of Cairo, by Khedive Abbas Helmi this museum became one of the largest museums in the world, with a collection of more than 160 thousand pieces. The museum has 2 floors, on the first floor the artifacts are organized in chronological way, the second floor has the wonderful collection of King Tutankhamun, including his jewelry, coffin and his famous mask.
After finishing you tour we will drive you back to Hurghada around 18:00.
